Mangalore : A city bus operating on the State-Bank Shaktinagar route overturned at Kalpane near Kulshekhar on the night of March 30, Saturday, resulting in the death of its driver. Nearly 20 passengers sustained minor injuries in the mishap.

The deceased driver is Nandish (40), a resident of Saripalla. It is learnt, he who sustained serious injuries, died in the hospital.  Luckily most of the bus passengers sustained only minor injuries. It is learnt the bus was over speeding and had overtaken several vehicles before it overturned.
