Mangalore: MLC Monappa Bhandary has called upon the Muslim brethren to strive to follow the ideals propagated by Prophet Mohammad.

He was speaking at Bakrid Message programme organized by the Akhila Bharatha Beary Parishat at the Jamiyyatul Falah Auditorium in Mangalore on October 22, Tuesday.

Mohammad Kunhi, Preacher and Manager of ‘Shanti Prakashana’ Islamic Publication gave the Eid message and spoke on the significance of the festival.

The Programme was earlier inaugurated by Y Mohammad Kunhi, State Wakf Board Member. Abdul Azeez Baikampady, Beary Parishat President, presided over the function.

Harikrishna Punaroor, former president of the Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Abdul Majeed Suralpady, Honorary President of Beary Parishat, Mohammad Kunjatbail, General Secretary and others were present on the occasion.
