Mangalore: The 15-day campaign ‘Read the Creator’s Message’ organised by the Universal Welfare Forum (UNIWEF) concluded at Shanti Nilaya in Balmatta recently.
Shikarupira Krishnamurthy, Professor in Sanskrit, St Aloysius College, Mangalore,who was the chief guest, said the character and behaviour of a person was more important than the religion to which he was born. He also urged people to conduct a self-introspection every day and try to be a better person.
Fr. William Martis, Parish Priest of Udupi Church said all religious are bound by a common principle and added people most try to understand each other’s religions.
Rafiyuddin Kudroli, President, UNIWEF, said the ideals propagated in Quran continues to remain relevant at all times. Dr. J N Bhat, Medical Superintendent, Omega Hospital, also spoke.
There was even an interactive session wherein the speakers answered the queries of the participants.
