Udupi : The Campus Front of India  staged a protest  near the Clock Tower here on September 19, Thursday demanding strict punishment to  the rapists of a diploma student of Hyderabad.

Addressing the protestors, Iqbal Bellare, State President of the CFI said  there is a need for a thorough probe by a special investigation team. The victim and her family must get due protection, he said and also urged t he government to bear the educational expenses of the victim.

Farhan Honnala, Treasurer, Sahil, Vice President, Rajesh Manipal and others took part in the protest.
