Udupi: On their way back from Goa to Mangalore, 3 car passengers got involved in a brutal accident around 2.30 AM (early morning) on Dec 6, Tuesday, when their car rammed into a parked water Supply tanker at Brahmavara town, causing the death of Lancy D’Souza (65) who w as in the front seat, while two other occupants of the car, Joel R. Paul and Lancy’s daughter Lavitha K.D’souza is stated to have died of shock in a cardiac arrest at the time of collision.

The injured are in Brahmavara hospital.

The tanker was in a “breakdown” condition on the side of the highway, and was not visible in the dark hours.

Brahmvara police have registered a case.
