Puttur: In an tragedy accident on festival day, a private bus and car accident claims a car drivers life near Polya of Kabaka on Monday August 12th.

The driver died on the spot after the car that he was driving was hit by a private bus.

The deceased car driver identified as Hakeem, a resident of Ishwarmangala in Puttur.

The Maruti Zen car was moving from Puttur and the bus was plying from Mangaluru to Puttur when the ghastly accident occurred.

The force of the impact was such that the car was completely mangled. The unfortunate victim was on his way to visit friends and family on the occasion of Bakrid when he breathed his last.
