Hence it is an occasion to celebrate the gifts of the holy spirit, he said.
The four-day programme will have two parts – training in the morning to 500 leaders from 14 dioceses of Karnataka and conventions in the evening from 4pm to 8 pm, in which 10,000 are expected to participate, he said.
In preparation for the convention, the intercessory prayers will be held in all the parishes of the diocese and also in fourteen diocese of Karnataka. The Bishop will officially inaugurate the convention and Bernard Moras, the Archbishop of Bangalore, will celebrate the concluding holy mass. Other bishops from Karnataka will celebrate the holy mass on other days in turn.
