New Delhi: CBI’s decision to close the Aarushi Talwar murder case has resulted in a public outrage.
Union Law Minister has intervened and summoned the CBI director Amar Pratap Singh and asked him to take the case ‘seriously’. He realized that someone had killed Aarushi in a brutal way and he wanted CBI to investigate the case, as CBI does a “perfect job’.
CBI had failed to proceed as enough evidence was not available against anyone and no motive has been established in the killing and no murder weapons were recovered.
Talwar’s parents were stunned when CBI wanted to abandon the case, in which a domestic suspect Hemraj also died a few hours later with blood stains on the staircase. A double murder investigation was given to CBI by CM Mayawati. Aarushi’s dentist father Rajesh is a suspect now 3 other domestics arrested in July 2008 were released later in Sept. 2008 as innocent.
