Bangalore: In a welcome move, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced online registration of students for Classes from 9 and 11 during the current academic year.
The registration forms need to be filled online by the schools, says a letter from MC Sharma, Controller of Examination of CBSE. As per the letter, Schools affiliated to CBSE up to secondary level (Class 10) need to submit details of students on roll in Class 9 in the current academic session. Schools affiliated to the Board up to senior secondary level (Class 12) have to submit details of students on roll in Class 11 in the current academic year.
September 15, is the last date for registration without fee while October 30 is the last date with late fee. Registration fee per student in schools in India: Rs 200 while it is Rs 100 in schools abroad.
