Mangaluru : The CCB police has arrested five persons for plotting a murder plan.

The arrested have been identified as Taslim (21), a resident of Madani Nagar, Fayaz (22), Kurshid (23), Ramiz (21) and Naushad (31) of Yelliarpadavu. They were allegedly planning to execute a murder as a revenge of the death of Safwan, a resident of Puilar on April 26 last year and were in possession of swords, rods, chili powder and knives.

They had also attacked a person named Gangadhar near Kuttar in June this year.
