Udupi : A couple of persons, including Sandeep Pavanjegudde assaulted a persons at his house at around 11.45 p.m. at Badanidiyur village on Sunday.

It is said, they told him to remove the CCTV cameras installed by them at his house for payment issues.

Sunil D’Souza, Congress worker assaulted person. He tried to run, but the two of them beat him up with PVC pipes. He got admitted to the hospital after the incident.

He registered a complaint with the Malpe police, Investigation is on, the police said.
