Udupi : A CCTV footage of the Sri Krishna Petrol Bunk at Indrali in Manipal shows the three accused in the Manipal gang rape case, filling their autorickshaw with petrol in the bunk at around 11 pm., on the night when the Manipal medical student was gang raped by them.

The CCTV footage recorded at 11.05 pm that night showed  the auto coming to the petrol bunk. When the auto halts, the main accused Yogish is seen trying to smoke a cigarette and  scolded by the bunk supervisor for doing so. Anand another accused is seen behind the auto with a water bottle in hand. When he tries to drink the liquid in it, the bunk supervisor realizes it is not water but whiskey. The three leave the petrol bunk at 11.08 pm. It was after this that the three came across the medical student whom they gang raped as admitted by them.

Sources also reveal the three who had consumed liquor in a bar had also borrowed Rs 100 from the bar to fill the petrol tank of the autorickshaw. It is learnt the Yogish and Anand  had even wanted to kill the medical student after gang raping her, but was prevented by  the third accused Hariprasad. Later, heeding to the plea of the victim he   had dropped her home.
