Moodbidri : A centenarian man hailing from Daregudde Padubettu here, united with his wife in death too, by breathing his last within hours of the death of his 90 year old wife, on May 27, Monday.

Narsi Shedy (90) , wife of Angara Shetty had died at around 3.30 pm on Sunday. Angara Shetty  who was grief-stricken  over the death of his wife, had performed the last rites and soon died.

Family members said he had suffered a heart attack a couple of months ago, but had miraculously survived though they had no hopes of his survival.

The couple has five sons and four daughters.
