Mangalore : The 2013 CET results were declared on May 28, Tuesday and as usual Mangalore has some good results with as many as four rank holders belonging to colleges in Mangalore.
Medha N Rao, a student of Expert PU College, has secured the second rank in medical , Agriculture(BSc) and Indian system of Medicine and Homeopathy. Sachin Krishna Ra of Canara Pre-University College, scured forth rank in CET (Medical).
Sahan Alva who is from Mangalore but resides in Mysore bagged the fourth rank in Engineering. Varun Venkatesh and Saveeksha Kotekar, also students of Expert PU College secured sixth and eighth ranks respectively in the medical stream.
Almost all the CET toppers have attributed their success to hard work and regular reading, Medha’s parents Narayana Rao and Shobha Rao are settled in Qatar while she returned to Mangalore after her tenth standard.
Sachin Krishna Raj, the Canara PU College student hails from Kasargod. His parents Sukhesh Rak and Savitha Raj are doctors. He has also cracked the Shobha Rao are based in Qatar, Sachin Krishna is from Kasargod and both his parents Sukheesh Raj and Savithra Raj are doctors.He has also Kishore Vaigyanik Prothsahan Yojana exams.
Varun Venkatesh, the sixth rank holder in CET (Medical is the son of Lavanya and Dr Venkatesha Sanjeeva, a surgeon. He says his hard works have brought him laurels in the CET exam.
