Bangalore: In the CET results on medical and engineering courses, published today, girls have gained an upper hand, with MES (Malleshwarm) College student Ramya taking the first spot in both medical and dentistry sections.
Aditya Gdonkar of Bangalore Vijaya College took the top rank in engineering faculty. But in Architecture section, it was a girl again, Shreya Dismi, Who secured first rank.
Dr.V.S. Acharya, senior minister for higher Education and medical studies minister S.A Ramadas gave this information in the CET unit building on 18th cross, Malleshwaram today(May 30).
Among others, Asif from Hubli Chetana College took the second rank in medical tests Chirag from Hassan Venkateshwara College earned the third place.
In engineering tests, Deepak from Mysore(second) and Dheeraj from Bangalore Sardar Patel College(third) were winners, said Dr. Acharya.
Results will be put up in all 235 exam centres on Tuesday, May 31. At 1 PM (afternoon) on Monday ( May 30) students can obtain their results on authorized websites, a press release of CET informed on Monday here.
Bangalore (rural) district leads in these CET results, with Kodagu at the end. The rank students will be honoured on June 20, Dr. V.S.Acharya announced.
