Mangalore : The Mangalore unit of Campus Front ofIndia (CFI) staged protest against the ‘saffronisation’ of education in frontof DC Office on June 25, Monday.

The protesters said that BJP ministers like K S Eshwarappa, VishweshwaraHegde Kageri, and Nalin Kumar Kateel, have protected the idea of saffronisationin schools.

He said that the statement given by Eshwarappa is anti-constitutional and the state government wants to communalize the educationalsystem.

The banner containing portraits of Eshwarappa and MP NalinKumar Kateel was burnt for their statement on saffronisation in education DakshinaKannada schools.

The protestors warned to hold violent agitation if Eshwarappadoes not take his words back.
