Mangalore : A special programme `Chai Pe Charcha’ an interaction with BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, will be held on International Women’s Day, March 8, by BJP Mahila Morcha.

Speaking to the media in a press meet held at district BJP office on Thursday, March 6. Pulasya Rai, state secretary, BJP Mahila Morcha said, Modi will interact with women on problems facing women and issues pertaining to women’s empowerment. The programme Chai Pe Charcha will be held on March 8, in around 1,500 centres across the country including 110 in Karnataka. Out of these, 28 centres will be set up in Bangalore, and 30 will be international centres. The discussion will be held from 4 pm to 6:30 pm.

The Chai Pe Charcha will be held at NITK Hostel, Suratkal, Hotel Janatha, Curupur, Hotel Mathrushee, Kavoor, Vardhaman Hotel, Yeyyadi, Sri Durga Canteen, Mulki, Hotel Padma Tourist, BC Road and NaMo Tea Stall Guruvayanakere.

Mahila Morcha leaders Sulochana GK Bhat, Shakeela Kava, Kasturi Panja and others were present at the press.
