Sullia: Sullia police arrested a youth in connecton with chain snatching case on Sunday.

Dilip (19) of Madappadi Grama, Sullia is the arrested youth.

As per the police, Dilip snatched chain of Asha Shetty (22) on July 4, while removing her sandals in front of Shree Venkataramana Temple. A case was registered regarding the same at Sullia police station.

Police had formed a special squad to found the accused. The chain worth Rs 24000 has been recovered from a jewellery shop where he had sold.

Sullia Circle Inspector led the squad.
