Mangaluru : The CCB police of Bengaluru who are investigating into the cash for ticket scam involving Chaitra Kundapur, has served a notice to Rajashekharananda Swamiji of Gurupur Vajradehi Mutt to appear for investigation.
It has been learnt that Chaitra who is in judicial custody had brought up the name of the Vajradehi seer in this case.
It may be recalled here that apart from Chaitra and Abhinava Halasri Swamiji, six others have been arrested in this case.
The Vajradehi seer had earlier denied any involvement in this case. He however had written a brief introduction to a book authored by Chaitra.
It is said Chaitra had written to the ED against the complainant in this case accusing him of pressurizing her to return the money. In this letter, she had reportedly mentioned the name of Vajradehi seer.
