Kasaragod: As many as 43 people who attended a marriage at Chengala gram Panchayat, on July 17 tested positive for COVID-19.
After they were tested positive district deputy collector doctor D Sajit Babu informed that any person who attends function should undergo home Quarantine compulsorily and inform the health officials if they show any symptoms of COVID-19.
The DC has directed police personnel to register a case which attracts two year imprisonment and Rs 10,000 fine for the accused.
