Mangaluru : A mini truck that was transporting poultry from Peruvai to Beripadavu fell on its side after its driver lost control.

The incident occurred on the road near Peruvai Sanka which is narrow and slopey.

The truck reportedly had braking problems and slid on the road before losing control and falling on its side across the length of the road.

The driver severely injured his arms and was rushed to the hospital by locals.

Most of the chickens in the truck died. The locals also cleared the truck to make way for traffic.
