Bangalore  : The nightmarish traffic jams in this high tech city have not spared even Karnataka Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda.

Mr Gowda’s car had to virtually crawl through the long line of cars, buses and trucks under the hanging bridge at Krishnarajapuram on the city outskirts this morning when he was on his way to attend an official function at Hoskote.

The Chief Minister’s convoy had to either slow down or stop on occasions even as his personal security staff came out of their vehicles and cleared the traffic to ensure a smooth run for his car.

The spot witnesses traffic jams almost throughout the day as it links the highway to Chennai, besides connecting Whitefield where a number of IT companies and industries have their offices.
