Mangaluru: Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah will inaugurate various development projects worth Rs 252.50 crore in Bantwal on October 22 during his visit to the taluk, said Dakshina Kannada Incharge minister B Ramanath Rai speaking in a press conference here in Mangaluru on Thursday.
Chief Minister will lay foundation stone for Rs 104.21 crore projects while Rs 148.29 crore worth works are scheduled to be inaugurated on October 22. Mini Vidhana Soudha constructed at a cost of Rs 10 crore, inspection bungalow (Rs 3 crore), KSRTC bus stand (Rs 10 crore), 100-bed hospital (Rs 6.15 crore), MESCOM building (Rs 5.16 crore), drinking water scheme in the municipal limits (Rs 52.79 crore), a tree park (Rs 35lakh), RTO office and other buildings will be inaugurated on the occasion, the minister added.
Chief Minister is also scheduled to lay foundation stone for construction works of Kavishishya Panje Mangesh Rao auditorium, Kadeshivalaya – Ajilamogaru Harmony Bridge, multi-village drinking water project and three other development works, minister said. Additional Deputy Commissioner Kumar, SP Sudheer Kumar Reddy, and Zilla Panchayat CEO Dr M R Ravi were present in the press meet.
