Mangalore : Chintana Samavesh, a convention of members of Navodaya Self-Help Groups under the aegis of the Navodaya Grama Vikasa Charitable Trust was inaugurated at the Kaup Vidyaniketan school premises on October 20, Saturday by members of the Navodaya SHG belonging to different faiths.
Sri Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Charukeerthi Swamiji of Jain Mutt, Moodbidri, honoured achievers in diverse fields on the occasion. Nearly 18 persons were felicitated.
Devi Prasad Shetty Belapu, senior leader, was one among the awardees.Entrepreneur Suresh Shetty, Fr Stany Tauro, Parish Priest of Arogya Matha, Church, Shirva, Abdul Rehman Madani Kathiba of Mulur Jumma Masjid, entrepreneur Rohan Monteiro, Chief of Property Infratech, and others spoke on the occasion.
