Mangalore : Jyothi Raj alias Koti Rama, famous as the spiderman of India was in Mangalore eon September 25, Tuesday and left Mangaloreans dazed with his adventures at the PVS Kalakunj Road in Mangalore. Jyothi Raj who hails from Chitradurga, is known for scaling building walls in various places with effortless ease.
Jyothi Raj had a brief stopover in Mangalore on his way to Udupi following an invitation from Ashok Kadabettu, a Huli Veshadhari, requesting him to perform at Nehru Maidan in Udupi.
Though initially Jyothi Raj planned to clumb the PVS Building, he was denied permission and so decided to perform at Shalini Enclave on PVS Kalakunj Road. The ease which which he climbed the 10-storied apartment complex stunned everyone standing below.
However, by the time Jyothi Raj completed his show, the police had arrived and were visibly perturbed as no permission had been sought before performing the stunt.
But, the crowd immensely enjoyed the performance. Later Raj said he faced some problems after his leg was fractured in an accident some time back and informed his best feat was climbing an 18 storey building at Mysore.
