Mangalore : The Bollywood’s veteran choreographer Saroj Khan, arrived Mangalore to inaugurate the Saroj Khan Dance Academy and judge the Biggest Talent Show and Audition held at Hotel Gateway on July 10, Saturday. The academy has been established in collaboration with the Western Institute of Technology.
Speaking after inaugurating the event, Saroj Khan said that the scenic beauty of Mangalore inspired her to establish an academy. The participants need to practice more to excel in the field.
The winners of the solo competition for children up to the age of 12 were Shreya J., Siri, and Sadwin S. Shetty. The winner of the solo competition for children between the ages of 12 and 15 was Gavin Joshua Rodrigues. The winner of the solo competition for teenagers above the age of 15 was Gwynenne D’Souza. The winners received gold medals and cash prizes in addition to discounts to various courses in the Western Institute of Technology plus 25 percent discount in the Saroj Khan Dance Academy.
Saroj Khan’s daughter- in- law Shabnam Khan, MLA B. Ramanath Rai, Lal Goel of Pandit’s Health Resort;, Ruby Agarwal, the chairperson of Benefit India Limited, Walter Stephen Mendes, the president of Western Institute of Technology were present on the dais.
