Mangalore : Cinepolis, a multiplex located at the City Centre Mall undertook an initiative to bring smiles on the faces of differently-abled children by screening blockbuster English 3D movie ‘Life of Pi’ on Mar 27, Wednesday.
A total of 150 children of Saanidhya Residential Special School of Shaktinagar, Chethana Child Development Centre of Kodialbail and Lions Seva Trust of Suratkal were enthralled with watch the movie.
The children were accompanied by their teachers caretakers and parents at the multiplex. The students were even served with mouthwatering popcorn.
Mulky Keerthan Shetty, deputy unit head of Cinepolis said that Cinepolis will enourgae the differently-abled children to mingle in the society like normal people.
Apart from Mangalore Cinepolis, the branch from differently-abled children from other parts of the country will organize such opportunity.
Vasanth Shetty, president, Saanidhya Residential Special School, Shaktinagar appreciated the effort of Cinepolis to contribute such an happy moments to the children. He also appreciated staffs for their good hospitality.
