Mangaluru: “Labour sector of India is facing severe problems due to the demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes. PM Modi is trying to enforce non-proclaimed emergency in India,” said CITU state Vice-President Vasanth Achari.

He was speaking to the protestors in front of DC office in a protest led by CITU against demonetisation on Monday.

CITU district President J Balakrishna Shetty, General Secretary Sunil Kumar Bajal also addressed the gathering.

CITU leaders Lokayya, Sadashiva Das, Jayanth Naik, Jayanthi B Shetty and others were present.
