Mangalore : The journos Under the aegis of the DK District Working Journalists Union and Press Club, paid homage to the eminent and veteran journalist Dr MV Kamath at Press Club on October 10, Friday.

Apart from working as the journalist, Dr MV Kamath served as the former chairman of Prasar Bharati and breathed his last at the age of 93 at the KMC Hospital, Manipal on October 9.

One of the senior journalists and Mangalore Bureau Chief of Udayavani Manohar Prasad, briefed on the life and contributions of MV Kamath towards the field of journalism.

DKWJU president P.B. Harish Rai, Press club president Ramakrishna, Ravindra Shetty, Srinivas Nayak and other journalists were present.
