Mangalore, June 18, 2012: The 58-year-old man was killed in a road accident, when a bus ran over him near Hotel Woodside, Balmatta on June 18, Monday at 11:00 a.m.

The deceased person was on his way from Jyothi Circle to Hampankatta when 44 number bus knocked him down, killing him on the spot.

A speeding bus knocked down a pedestrian near Hotel Woodside, Balmatta on June 18, Monday, at around 11:00 a.m., adding to the ever-growing list of accidents caused by buses driven rashly and carelessly.

The bus driver immediately escaped from the scene.
