Mangalore : Dharmaraj, CEO of Mohtisham Complexes Pvt Ltd has said that all safety and security measure are in place at the City Centre mall in Mangalore and the Cinepolis has also been functioning after the licence was issued by the District Magistrate.
Speaking to press persons at the City Centre Mall on December 11, Tuesday, he said the licence was issued after the Fire Service Department issued its no-objection certificate.
Dharmaraj tried to clear doubts regarding the licences secured by the Cine polis and said the Cine polis opening was delayed due to the pending of the licence merely due to some technical glitches.
He said NOCs have been obtained from Public Works Department (PWD), Health Department as well as the Fire Service Department (FSD)
He also gave details of the two year long legal battle over the issue and added the fire service department had cancelled the licence earlier citing some ‘arbitrary’ conditions.
Devang Sampath from Cinepolis said Cine Polis recorded a sale of 2,000 tickets over the weekend.
President elect of CREDAI Pushparaj Jain, President of Architect Guild Venkatesh Pai, Vice President of CREDAI D B Mehta and ACCE President Vijay Vishnu Mayya were also present at the press meet.
