Mangaluru:  A parade of stolen assets 2019-20 was held at the Mangalore police parade ground on October 3, Saturday.

The property including jewellery and vehicles worth Rs 5.37 crores which were recovered by the police were handed over to their rightful owners after a property organised at the Police Parade Grounds under the leadership of City Police Commissioner Vikas Kumar.

The valuables returned today were stolen in various areas of Mangaluru City Police Commissionerate limits and were recovered in 2019-20. Police had recovered valuables worth Rs 9.05 crores of which Rs 5.37 crore worth property were returned. The returned valuables include 2.277 kg gold, 19 mobile phones,25 two-wheelers and other goods apart from Rs 48,13,951 in cash.
