Mangalore : BJP leaders and workers  staged a protest in front  of the Party office  in Mangalore on September 20, Thursday opposing the diesel price hike and permission for FDI in retail sector.

Nalin Kumar  Kateel, MP, Srikar Prabhu, City unit BJP President, Nitin Kumar and several other party leaders and workers were present.

In a press statement, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel  has said that the economic policies of the Centre has struck a severe blow on the common man.

CPM, JD(S) protests) : Even the CPI(M) activists and JD(S) workers protested for the same cause in front of the DC office on Thursday. The agitators were heard shouting slogans against the government. CPM Secretary B Madhava, Srinath Rai, JD(S) youth wing chief, Vasanth Poojari, Muneer Katipalla, Sunil Kumar Bajal and others took part in the protest.
