Mangalore : Former MLA K. Vijaya Kumar Shetty, said that Dr. A. Ravindra, the development advisor to CM B. S. Yeddyurappa, is guilty of violating the code of conduct that has been charged for the Taluk Panchayat and Zilla Panchayat polls.
Vijaya Kumar has submitted a complaint to DC Subodh Yadav stating that Ravindra, who paid an official visit to Mangalore on Dec 24, Thursday to look after the development of the Mangalore Urban Development Authority (MUDA), also addressed the media in the BJP office, seeking for votes in favour of the BJP.
Apart from it, he also encouraged party activists to work for the success of BJP candidates. Dr. A. Ravindra also stands accused of using a government vehicle, which belongs to MUDA for the political campaign. Ministers Krishna J. Palemar, V. S. Acharya, and Nithin Kumar were also present at the meet.
DC Subodh Yadav said that strict action will be taken against Dr. Ravindra if the charges against him are found to be true.
