Mangaluru :  CM Basavaraj Bommai who was on a tour of the district was scheduled to visit the Talapady border today, he has cancelled his visit and has returned to Bengaluru.

Meanwhile  commuters  from Kerala staged a protest at the Talapady border even on Friday against the decision of the Karnataka government making RT-PCR test mandatory for those entering Karnataka from Kerala.

On Friday morning Manjeshwar Panchayat UDYF Committee staged a blag mask protest and demanded that fully vaccinated people be allowed to enter Karnataka from Kerala.
