Bangalore : ‘Mining lobby’ is the reason for a week-long political crisis in the state, said Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa.
He was speaking after celebrating the victory of BJP government. He also said that victory in the floor test in Karnataka Assembly was a triumph of ‘democratic principles’.
Winning the confidence vote on the floor of the House is a real victory and he cannot br frightened by the lobby which has been invested over Rs 100 crore to put down the Government.
He also said that the people of the country have supported the state and the people in high esteem for its rich traditions and good values.
But it suffered a lot due to the acts of Opposition party leaders. He told that he will try hard to maintain the dignity of the state and help restore its image.
