Mangalore : Senior Congress leader V S Ugrappa said that Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda and other ministers while taking the over the posts, will have to take the oath, to abide by the constitution, but none of them are respecting the constitution and following their own rule.
He was speaking at the press meet held at District Congress office on Feb 14, Tuesday. Speaking about PV Acharya, advocate general, he said that PV Acharya, was the special public prosecutor for Jayalalitha case and taken more than the actual income, later he was appointed as the advocate general, which was against the constitution. But PV Acharya resigned as the advocate general and opted to remain as the special public prosecutor for Jayalalitha.
He also said that the government who speak about anti corruption, asked to help Jayalalitha, which is interference with the process of justice. He urged the CM for the entire process to be entrusted to the CBI Investigation.
Speaking about the problem of lokayukta, he said that the report on Lokayukta was given on July 27, 2011that the state government has looted Rs 20, 000 crore, but to hide this, they have not appointed a new lokayukta, he said.
The state government is running against the law and are not ready to appoint the Lokayukta and Upa Lokayukta . The entire illegal activities and the kick back issue related to rave party and blue film watching episode which is against the constitution must be handed over to the CBI.
He said that if CM D V Sadananda Gowda, former CM B S Yeddyurappa and State BJP president K S Eshwarappa respect the constitution, they must dissolve the state government.
Criticizing three tainted ministers, he said that the minister who are supposed to work for the public welfare are watching blue film in assembly and entertaining themselves and they have also given the confessional statement of watching it for two minutes and what more is required, he said. But the CM and other ministers have supported them and encouraged for the incident without having any moral value, he said.
He questioned speaker about the moral value in him, while keeping silence during the two illegal incidents.
