Bangalore: The single Judge bench of High Court on Tuesday issued an interim stay order against the Lokayukta special court order for submission of a report after holding an enquiry into CM Yeddyurappa’s land deals and there by easing the tension in CM’s household today.
Sohan Kumar, a son-in-law of CM had moved the High Court seeking a stay order on the special Lokayukta court directive.
The Single Judge bench also issued its notice to the complainant Sirajudin Basha today in the matter. Basha had misused state Governor’s permission to proceed against CM in only 3 cases, it was argued in High Court in a petition on Monday from Sohan Kumar. The enquiry on this petition had been postponed to Tuesday by the High Court. All enquiries against CM are now suspended. Advocate B.V.Acharya argued in the court for CM’s son-in-law Sohan Kumar.
