New Delhi: The national and senior leaders of BJP have asked CM Yeddyurappa on Tuesday here to concentrate on winning 3 by-polls in Karnataka in spite of reports of continued dissidence or groupism. They decided not to disturb him from the CM’s post. They also asked dissident legislators (over 60) not to create any more problems for CM, who has requested the top brass not to send any trouble shooters including General Secretary D.Pradhan.
CM Yeddyurappa met Nitin Gadkari and Arun Jaitley who trust and support him, but not Advani and Sushma who hate him. CM complained against another General Secretary H.N.Anathkumar to the top leaders. He urged them to disallow K.S. Ishwarappa from holding his meetings with legislators until by-polls are gone through.
Yeddyurappa loyalists wanted both groups to sink their differences in the interests of the state party.
Gadkari told state MPs that CM was still capable of taking decisions on how to run the state. Gadkari was very clear on CM’s leadership and did not either Ananthkumar or Ishwarappa to leads dissident groups in Karnataka.
