Mangalore : CM Devaragunda Sadananda Gowda(DVS) on October 25 stated here that developmental works kept unfinished and pending so far, would be carried out on urgent basis now. Citing work on Mani-Sampaje road, where buses run regularly he said, the balance action would be swift to complete as per a stipulated period. CM had a meeting with DK/Udupi twin districts administrators, and pointed out that the renovation work on Shiradi Ghat road in Mangalore-Bangalore stretch had been delayed Quite unnecessarily, in view of Central apathy. Pot-holes on several roads in DK/Udupi would be repaired by PWD this year. DK/Udupi ZPs both had enough funds for drinking water arrangements for Summer months, CM stated.
