Mangalore, Jan 3, 2012: The senior Congress leader Janardhan Poojary, said that CM D. V. S. Sadananda Gowda is transferring sincere and efficient police officers because they did their duty during the stone pelting incident in Sullia
Spaking at the press meet held at Press Club on Jan 3, Tuesday, he demanded resignation from CM, if he cannot stop atrocities against certain communities in the state.
He said that the state government transferred two police constables of Kadaba Police Station, SP Labhu Ram, and the circle inspector and sub inspector of Sullia Police Stations for their doing their duty sincerely during Sullia stone pelting incident.
He also said that the complaint must be filed against the members of the organization who do not allow the police officers to do their duty.
CM had also transferred ADGP Jeevan Kumar Goankar immediately after assuming power to interrupt in the investigation of corruption charges labelled against BJP leaders to please Sangh Parivar, he informed.
Congress leaders Arun Coelho, Vijayakumar Shetty, and Kallige Tharanath Shetty were also present.
