New Delhi : The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a fresh case against Pushp Steels Private Limited in the alleged irregularities in allocation of coal blocks.
The company has a mining licence in Chhattisgarh. CBI officials are searching the company’s offices in Raipur, Narwana in Haryana and Delhi.
Setting off a political bombshell, CBI Director Ranjit Sinha yesterday submitted before the Supreme Court that the agency’s status report on coal allocation scam was “shared” with Law Minister Ashwani Kumar “as desired by him” and that senior officials of PMO and Coal ministry had also seen it.
