Mangalore :  A 26-years old worker, Vijesh from Koilandy in Kerala, near Kozhikode, died in a tragic elevator accident at the Kankanady showroom of well-known Cochin Bakery in city where he was an employee.

The Bakery is in a 3 storeyed building, and Vijesh passed away while on duty, caught between the doors as he got into on the ground floor. The victim was found hanging with half his body inside the elevator which moved up all of a sudden.

The wall of the elevator had to be broken by the Police and Fire Servicemen who arrived on the scene, to take the body out. Investigation is on about the machinery defects of the lift that killed an employee.
