Byndoor:  A young girl died as a compound wall collapsed in Ulloor at Byndooru here on Friday June 29.

The deceased has been identified as Dhanya (22) was the daughter of Chandrashekar and Hema Shetty.

Dhanya was walking to Jattigeshwara temple on Friday morning when this incident occurred, Dhanya who got trapped under the debris died on the spot.

Dhanya arrived in her hometown on vacation for 15 days. She pursuing second-year MSc in statistics from Mangalore University.

Dhanya leaves behind two elder sisters. Her father works in Hyderabad where he runs a pan shop.

Byndoor police arrived at the spot and registered a case.
