Udupi: A student of Milagres College, Kalianpur, has ended her life by hanging herself in her house at Nayampalli, Santhekatte on November 30, Friday.

The deceased has been identified as  Rakshitha. She was a final BSc student of Milagres College and the daughter of Nityananda KP and Malathi.

As usual after breakfast, Rakshitha had went inside her room to study and had locked the room from inside. That Rakshitha was hanging from the ceiling came to the notice of her parents, who looked through the window, when the knocking on the door proved futile.

The reason for the suicide is not known.  Police have seized Rakshitha’s mobile phone and investigations are in progress.
