Bantwal: A young college student lost his life by after drowning in Netravati river on Sunday evening near B C Road’s Kaikunje.
The deceased person has been identified as Rajanikanth (25), second MBA student of Valachil Shrinivas College. He is a resident of Nantoor.

He had been to take swim in Netravati river along with his two friends. Without having enough knowledge about the depth of the river, he started to drown.

The body has been taken to Bantwal government hospital for the further procedures.

Bantwal town police station SI Nanada Kumar visited the spot. A case has been registered at Bantwal town police station.
