Mangaluru : Yatin Raj, who was arrested in connection to the provocation of suicide case in college student Preksha Kumpala, has been sentenced to 14 days judicial custody.

Prekash (17), a resident of Kumpala, was found hanging inside the house. Parents and locals expressed suspicion of murder and suspected the gang activity. As a result, the police had taken into custody three youths, including a boyfriend who had come home at the suicide context. The boyfriend Yatin Raj has been arrested as a witness in the case and the others two have been released.

It is learned that Preksha committed suicide after her friend Yatin  Raj opposed her move to Bangalore for a modeling shoot.

Police continued the investigation of the Ganja activities at Ashraya Colony. The search operation also continued for 15 people who have in Ganja activities in the area.
