Mangaluru: BJP leader Ramdas Bantwal has lodged a complaint with the Bantwal Election Officer against DK District in-charge Minister Ramanatha Rai for violating poll code of conduct by holding a meeting without permission and then seeking votes.

It was alleged that Rai convened the meeting at Pallamajalu in Bantwal Municipal limits. The meet was organised by Pane mangalore Block Congress Committee.

A complaint has also been filed in the local police station. The video recording of the meeting has been collected by election officials.
