Mangalore : The Shree Mahalingeshwara Temple of Kavoor organized a condolence meeting in honor of late Manmohan Malli in Kodialguttu Late Devaki Chikkappa Rai Memorial Hall of Kavoor on Oct 26, Friday. A large number of people were present to offer rich tributes to the late real estate businessman.
Mr. Mally had served as the administrative trustee of Shree Mahalingeshwara Temple. Speaking on the occasion, Shree Ananthapadmanabha of Kateel Temple said that Mr. Mally was known for his practical way of thinking. He was a soft-spoken person who lived simply and contributed a lot to social welfare, he added.
Shrinivas Bhat, chief priest of Shree Mahalingeshwara Temple, said that the temple developed tremendously after Mally took over as its administrative trustee.
A. J. Shetty, who was closely associated with Manmohan Malli said that he knew Mally from the past 25 years and deeply mourns the death of his friend. He also expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.
Many others who were close to Mally such as Prakash Bhandary, ACP of Mumbai; ex mayor Shashidhar Hegde; K. C. Nayak of Mahabaleshwar Builders; and many others spoke on the occasion.
