Mangalore : A conference on ‘The Safety of Women’ will be held at Town Hall on October 13, Sunday under the aegis of Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (DCCW)  and Catholic Sabha, Mangalore Pradesh.

Informing this, Lydia D’Cunha, President of the DCCW  said Umashree, Minister for Women and Child welfare will be the chief guest of the occasion.  Ramanath Rai, Minister for Forest, Ecology and Environment,  Brahmakumari Vishweshari, convener of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya  Vishwa Vidyalaya, Sr Lillis,  Asst Superior General Bethany Congregation and Shameera Jahan, Asst Organizer Jamathe Hind Women’s Wing will be  the chief guests. Bishop of Mangalore Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza will preside over the function.
